Join us

For a couple of hours a term you could make a real difference by joining us on the Friends of Notley High School Committee. Every little helps. All we ask is that you give us a couple of hours of your time whenever you can. You can help in a variety of ways:

• Attending meetings and offering your ideas and opinions
• Providing useful contacts
• Finding sponsors
• Helping out at events we organise
• Helping with refreshments at school evening events (e.g. school production, prize giving evenings etc.)
• Selling tickets for events
• Helping to decide how we spend the money that we raise to support the school

Even if you can’t attend all the meetings, we will be happy to see you any time. We are quite a nice bunch!

There is no fixed ‘term of office’ and you can stay for as long as you wish.

In return for your time we offer:

• A relaxed and friendly night out about twice a term to meet as a committee
• A chance to make new friends
• Good social evenings, such as quiz nights, meals out
• The opportunity to be involved in the life of the school and meet some of the staff
• The opportunity to find out how the school ticks and to meet other parents
• The chance to support the school and be involved in making decisions about fundraising
